Marina di Varazze, Italy (May 29, 2017) – The African high pressure present all over the north-western Tyrrhenian Sea has featured the second act of the M32 Series Mediterranean that took place in Varazze 26-28 May organised under the useful support of the Marina di Varazze and the Club Nautico Varazze.
Flat water and 2 knots wind allowed only one race on the first two racing days. Despite the very light wind, guests have had the chance to enjoy the Hot Seat experience and appreciate the top level features of these super speedy catamarans always offering great performance even with very light breeze.
On Sunday all participating teams were paid back with six great races sailed under flat water and 5 knots breeze thus setting up a different leaderboard with A. La Corte’s Vitamina Veloce leading followed by R. Simoneschi’s Italia Sailing Team and G. Miani’s Team Neverland from the Yacht Club de Monaco.
All crews have enjoyed the support offered by the Marina di Varazze and its managing staff as well as the “America’s Cup” crew dinner party with live music at the Club Orizzonte.
